Training Your Dog to Have “Door Manners”

Keeping them from bolting out of an open door means training for dogs AND humans!

Door manners are an important safety skill especially for dogs that like to escape and explore. It’s meant to teach your dog to only exit through doorways to the outside when he or she is told to do so.

Sounds easy enough, right? Well, it’s not exactly fool-proof; you’ll need to also train the dogs as well as the people in the house to keep the doors closed!
