Please plan to bring your entire family to the event. If you have a resident dog(s) and he/she’s up to date on all shots, please bring him/her for a Meet’n’Greet and someone to handle him/her outside, as he/she can’t come inside until the vet check has been competed and a private meeting is scheduled. if you aren’t pre-screened, please bring all vetting records and history for your resident dog(s). Respectful children are always welcome when actively supervised by a legal guardian.
SOS accepts Always Adopt pre-screening from the 6/3/2018 Always Adopt event. To confirm the match, we will still want to have a conversation with you, and a Meet’n’Greet with the dog and you, and any resident dog(s), may also be required. Please bring your pre-screened Always Adopt letter to the event.

VIRTUAL ADOPTION EVENT! @ VIRTUAL via ZOOM
Feb 27 @ 10:00 am – 12:00 pm

Until further notice:
All SOS adoption events
will take place virtually
via Zoom.

We encourage anyone interested in adopting a dog from SOSARL to attend our monthly virtual adoption events. During these events, we spotlight each of our local dogs for about 5-10 minutes each, live in their current foster homes while also fielding live questions from event participants. This is a great way to see our pups in their “natural habitat” and learn more about each in a relaxed and safe setting. To register for an event, please complete the below form prior to 8 p.m. on Friday before the next event. We will send a Zoom meeting link to the email address that you provide prior to the event.

Click here to register for this event!

You can review pictures and bios for all of our dogs at: https://sosarl.org/available-dog

Dogs with “LOCAL” in their name are currently in the New England area. Please note: Only “LOCAL” dogs will be featured during the virtual adoption event.

If you are interested in a specific dog, we recommend filling out an adoption application prior to the event as applications are reviewed in the order in which they are received. To start the adoption process, please complete an online application here: https://sosarl.org/adopt/

Please know that we remain committed to helping dogs find and succeed in loving forever homes, while treating everyone’s health and safety as a top priority.

Thank you for your steadfast support of animal rescue!
