Your gift to Save One Soul Animal Rescue League makes our lifesaving work for animals possible, as we depend on the generous support of our community.  Learn more about the different ways you can support the animals who need us most, and give in the way that feels best to you.

In Person Donations
We can accept cash and credit card donations in person at our store, SOS reTAIL, in Wakefield, RI.

  • Kibble for puppies and adults (preferred brands include Nutrisource, Fromm, and Open Farm)
  • Collapsible metal dog crates (24" and 30" are most needed!  No rust/broken pieces, please!)
  • Collapsible metal x-pens (no rust/broken pieces, please!)
  • Durable toys and chews (Kong, Benebone, Outward Hound, Ruffwear, WestPaw, SodaPup, etc)
  • Chews and treats (no rawhide/made in China, please!)
  • Training treats
  • Paper towels
  • Poop bags

You can purchase these items at most pet supply stores, including our own store where 100% of the profits go to helping homeless animals! Stretch your donation even further: all items purchased from our wish list at SOS reTAIL will be sold at 20% off! Just mention it’s a donation for SOSARL at checkout.

Sponsor an Event...or a Dog! 
SOSARL hosts several signature events throughout the year that offer sponsorship opportunities like Funny4Fido.  We also offer the opportunity to sponsor a specifc dog(s) in foster care or sponsor a specific activity core to our mission like a spay/neuter.  Consider becoming a sponsor to promote your business, honor a loved one’s memory, or celebrate a milestone, and support our mission at the same time!

Peer-to-Peer Fundraising
Become a champion for the dogs by fundraising on behalf of SOSARL. Creating a fundraiser is a powerful way to raise funds to support SOSARL's critical lifesaving work, share your reason for supporting SOSARL, and save the lives of dogs in need.  One of the easiest ways to fundraise for SOSARL is through Facebook!  Log into your account, create your own fundraiser and choose “Save One Soul Animal Rescue League” as the beneficiary.  Promote and share with all of your friends and followers.  You could fundraise for your birthday, in honor of loved one, or just because!

By including SOSARL in your Employee Giving program, you can make it easy for employees to help homeless and at-risk dogs live better lives.  You’ll boost employee morale and pride, too, while promoting customer engagement and amplifying the company’s dedication to the community.  Employees are inspired to give more, knowing their employer will match their donations.

Employer Matching (FOR EMPLOYEES)
Many companies offer matching gifts programs, exponentially impacting your gift so you can help even more homeless and at-risk dogs live better lives.  Some companies will even match gifts made by retirees and spouses.  Find out if your employer offers a matching program by searching below. Don’t see your employer on the list? Have a conversation with your HR department to find out if your employer will consider putting a matching program in place or to encourage the start of one!
