As a rescue, we would not be able to provide temporary care and find great homes for all of the dogs we do without the help and support of our amazing professional partners and sponsors.

We have a responsibility to proactively care for every aspect of each of our animals’ overall well-being which includes, but is not limited to, dental care, behavioral and mental care and support, parasite control, nutrition, vaccinations, regular exams, socialization, outreach and engagement with the community. Our Rescue Partners

The majority of our dogs come from our partner rescues in the Southern US where the population of at-risk dogs is overwhelming and the need for support is endless.

Wiley’s Road Home

Wiley’s Road Home (WRH) is a foster-based non-profit animal rescue organization based in North Arkansas that was formed by a group of friends who saw the desperate need in the community for help with overwhelming pet overpopulation. Wiley's Road Home strives to better the lives of animals in North Arkansas by connecting with families and shelters in need, and rescuing, vetting, fostering, and transporting dogs to loving homes through Save One Soul Animal Rescue League’s adoptions program.​

 

Animal Rescue Fund of Mississippi

Our Partners 3

The Animal Rescue Fund of Mississippi (ARF) is a no-kill shelter that houses dogs and cats located in Jackson, Mississippi. They commit to the dogs (and cats) in their care, allowing them to stay however long is needed while they wait for their forever homes. ARF works with a number of rescue partners in the Northeast to find their dogs adoptive homes.

UCARE (Unity for the Care of Animals Responsibility and Education) is a foster-based animal rescue organization based in Pineville, Louisiana, led by Keri Toth, who has been involved in animal rescue for more than two decades.

SOS reTAIL is our retail pet supply and services store in Wakefield, Rhode Island, supplying our foster and adoptions programs with the quality supplies, space and support needed to help do what do and save more lives!  SOS reTAIL began in June 2019 to provide quality products and services as well as awareness and support for animal welfare to our community, as well as a physical gathering space for our volunteers and adopters. SOS reTAIL carries a large selection of quality dog and cat supplies that have been hand-picked for our store after testing by our team. And the best part? 100% of the store proceeds go to supporting homeless animals in our community and beyond! Learn more about the store HERE.

NutriSource Pet Foods

Each year, our foster dogs eat more than six tons of kibble while getting healthy and waiting to find their adoptive homes.  NutriSource Pet Foods has stepped up to help us with this need in a BIG WAY by committing to providing SOSARL with monthly donations of their high-quality kibble to feed ALL of our dogs - those in the north as well as those in the south!  The NutriSource blend of carefully selected ingredients (including probiotics for superior microbial digestion) is highly palatable and digestible.  We all know how important GI health is for general well-being, and the role that consistent, quality food plays in that for our dogs. Not only do we now have SPONSORED! access to this food for ALL of our rescue pups, our pups are now on a consistent diet as they transition from the south to the north and then again to adoptive homes! Veterinary Services

Our vets help make sure that every dog that comes through SOS is healthy, happy and ready for success in their new homes!

Training

Training is such an important way to build a relationship with your dog and to help them become the best boy or girl they can be. We strongly believe in using positive reinforcement techniques and our training service partners are committed to non-aversive/force free methods.
