Courage and His New Family!

Sweet boy Courage has gone home!

For human company, he will have two doting parents, two fun, active sisters, a stay-at-home grandma, and a canine buddy (Teeny – a tiny doxie sister) to keep him in his place! He definitely hit the jackpot!
Congratulations Courage and family!!

UPDATE:

We received this from Courage’s new family:

Everything is fine with our boy. He’s gotten used to our routine and we’ve gotten used to his (e.g. high energy first thing in the AM and just before bedtime, with lots of sleep in between). He has normal stools, so has adjusted to our food and is not stressed. He and Teeny have come to some agreement that she will not play with him (though she still has to remind him when he’s really playful), and she’s learned that she can’t claim the whole house as her sole territory.

He’s met the next door neighbor’s dog (we only have one neighbor) and they like each other (though that dog can’t play because of risk to ACL). He’s walking well on the leash, and likes that our walks are not along a street (all around our property and the 200 acre dairy farm we abut). He does not like cows. We’re working on “come” and “stay” commands and he’s making progress. He is mostly incredibly easy (really, only not when we haven’t been able to squeeze in two good walks/day). He enjoys lots and lots of love.

We’re so happy for Courage and his family!

What a handsome boy!
