Happy Tail: Forrest S. Gump (formerly Scooter)

Forrest S. Gump (formerly Scooter) is doing fantastic! He plays very well with other dogs and happily sleeps in his crate at night but sleeps in his parents’ bed if it is windy or rainy. He really enjoys playing outside and digging when the weather is warmer. Forrest seems to have grade 3 luxating patella. When first adopted, he dragged his back toes a bit and could not jump very well. With lots of leg rubs and exercise, Forrest became the fastest dog in his class at Delmyra Kennel. Everyone would cheer “RUN FORREST RUN!” for him. He was even invited back for their agility classes. He loves going on adventures and exploring the city of Providence. He is a local celebrity at some coffee shops and other awesome spots that love to feature his pictures on their instagrams. He loves to snuggle and take care of you if you seem under the weather. His parents cannot keep him away from kids at the park. He just wants to cover them with kisses! Forrest enjoys long walks with a nice stick in his mouth. You would never guess that this dog has luxating patella! He has surprised everyone, including the vets!
