Happy Tail: Hollis

Hollis came into rescue as a stray and is now loving life at her new home with her new canine sibling Henri. Her new family is very happy with their decision to adopt this adorable pup.  Here is an update we received from them:

“She’s doing great adjusting to our schedule and learning how to be civilized.  We have been doing tons of positive reinforcement click training and she is smart as a whip.  We have a 3 year old boxer at home- the intro was tentative as imagined but by the second day they were fast friends.  Hollis is a little bite-y when playing because she was never taught how to play as a pup- she will learn to be softer mouthed from Henri (who is a softy and doesn’t correct Hollis face-chewing playfulness). We are also taking Hollis to a day school for the next month that is run by professional trainers that mix socialization with targeted one-on-one training for 8 hours a day.  She is rough around the edges as expected but we hit the rescue lottery with this pup- she is so sweet and has a great temperament.”
