Happy Tail: Lola (formerly Shelly)

Lola is fabulous! She has completed levels 1 and 2 of puppy class at Petco. She is a very well-mannered dog. She stays in her crate while her mom and dad are at work, but at night she sleeps in her own bed on the floor next to mom and dad’s bed. Mom said:

“We had a 13 year old dachshund named Rufus who died last summer. Rufus and our chiweenie Milo used to snuggle together in a bed all night. After Rufus passed, Milo would whine all night long. Just last week Milo started crawling into Lola’s bed at night and the 2 of them snuggle and sleep.”

Lola loves to play fetch in the backyard and go for walks. She takes 2 walks a day. If you say the word ” walk,” she starts running in circles. She gets along well with other dogs, including her parents’ granddogs, including Olivia, another SOS dog!
