Lucky’s family had this to share about their newest member:
“We adopted Lucky (formerly known as “Bruiser”) at the Super Dog Adoption Day last November and he became a member of our family before we even got him home.  While we stood in line waiting to get in, we saw him being walked and when we went over to see him, he more or less knocked our son over kissing him in a full body wag.  It was clear that moment that he was the right dog for us.  The gates opened and we went right over to the Save One Soul table and adopted him.  We got in the car and he fell asleep within 5 minutes on his new “moms” lap.  We felt so lucky to have him, and we felt he was lucky to have us, so we named him Lucky.
Lucky loves chasing tennis balls in the back yard.  He patrols the fence and regularly explores every inch of his territory. He pretty regularly does a sort of hopping happy prance/skip when we play in the yard and it is just the best thing ever.  We likes trips to the dog park, but seems to like the people there more than the dogs.  He has been through several different training classes and we do our best to keep up with the training.  Lucky is a sweet boy that wants to be with us as much as possible. He likes to lay across our laps and follows us everywhere. He is a really great dog that we are truly lucky to have in in our lives.
We can’t thank the amazing people at Save One Soul and Always Adopt enough.  They were absolutely incredible during the adoption process, and made the experience even more special than we ever could have expected. Lucky is a true mommy’s boy and more than anything else he loves to snuggle up to Mom on the couch.  We are so very lucky to have him in our family.”
