Happy Tail: Otis (formerly Bubba Jo)

Otis is living the life at his new home and his new family is overjoyed with what a lovable pup he has turned out to be. Here is what they had to say about Otis and his adoption:

“Bubba Jo is now Otis. He’s awesome, adjusting to his crate and his new family and surroundings just fine. We adore him, he’s very affectionate and social and fine with other dogs and kids. We take him every where we go, he loves the car and he took his first swim in the ocean yesterday. And boy does he love to bask in the sun! As it turns out, we ended up dog sitting Phinney, my daughters black lab mix, (also a rescue) and they absolutely love each other.  He is learning to walk on a leash and he already sits, lays down and gives his paw on command with a treat, of course!

I would very highly recommend SOSARL to anyone looking to adopt a pet. After having my heart broken a few times, it was so nice to deal with SOSARL because they acted so quickly once we decided that Otis was the dog we wanted. Lindsey is a great liaison, she explained exactly how the process works and we also spoke to Greta, his foster mom.  She gave us some insight on his daily habits and forwarded pictures of his “rescue” before and after. We registered his microchip and signed up for the pet insurance, too.
Otis makes us laugh every day, we absolutely LOVE him! Our only regret is that we couldn’t adopt a few of his siblings, too!”
