Happy Tail: Sammy (formerly Frito)

Sammy is happy to finally be home. His new family couldn’t love him anymore than they do now. Here is what they had to say about Sammy and his adoption:

“Thanks for checking in! Frito (now named Sammy) is doing really well. He is such a great dog! We really couldn’t have asked for a better pup. He loves going for long walks and playing with other dogs at the dog park. Either activity is promptly followed by a long nap! Sammy now has 2 cat sisters and one cat brother, and the introductions have gone fairly well and are getting better every day. We have been teaching him that the cats are not small dogs for him to play with! Since he’s already had obedience training, it has been a breeze to pick up the commands and help him along.

The adoption process was really great. We had our eyes on a few other female dogs and hadn’t really considered having a male since both of us have only had female dogs growing up. Our adoption coordinator Valerie mentioned Sammy to us and I’m so grateful that she did! As soon as we saw him at the adoption event we fell in love. People stop us all the time asking where we got such a pretty dog and I have been telling everyone to visit your site. Thanks for helping us find our amazing Sammy!”
