Happy Tail Update: Dusty

Dusty has been in his new home about 8 weeks now and he now feels right at home. Here is an update we received from his new mom:
“He loves the parks around here and has made several canine friends; he likes the little dogs, but he really loves to play with the big ones.
All three cats now play with him, and while not quite at the point of snuggling up together, they sleep right next to him on the bed and couch. He and Sosuke (the kitten and alpha pet in the household) are affectionate but have some sibling rivalry moments. He is particular friends with Chicken, who will be 2 soon; they play indoors and outside together. We sometimes have to remind him that Ramen, our senile and arthritic old man, is only for cuddling.
Dusty guards our house from all dogs on television and squirrels in the neighborhood, but not the mailman. He adores Paul and is fascinated that he visits every house; Dusty likes to trail him around the block. I suspect he is trying to figure out which house the guy belongs to.
He “helps” with housework and yard work — putting things back where he believes they should be after I remove them, hauling brush that I cut down, and taking over for me when I “give up” on digging a hole.
