Happy Tails: Dusty

Dusty is happy to finally be home. He now has 2 feline siblings, several cockatiel siblings, and some human siblings too. 🙂 He was a little timid at first arriving in his new home, but after a few hours he was very content. Dusty has already become very close with his feline sibling, Ramen, his sister Sabrina (see photos below) and his new momma. Dusty’s new family is so excited to see what the future brings with this handsome fella. Here is what they had to say about Dusty:

“He is alert and curious when he hears a neighbor’s dog bark, and he was very interested in the mailman; he’s going to be quite a watchdog.

He’s afraid of the cockatiels! Too funny, and it won’t last long. In quiet moments he watches them intently, but the first time they flapped their wings he freaked out. He’s still not brave enough to go into the room with the aviary. Ramen, our old cat who thinks he is a dog, fell immediately in love and has been following Dusty around the house. The two of them curl up near each other on the couch, and they shared my lap for a short nap this afternoon.

He definitely fits in here; we’re feeling really good about our decision to bring him home. :-)”
