Happy Tails: Motley

Motley was one of our lucky dogs that was adopted this past weekend. He is settling in nicely in his new home. Here is what his new dad had to say about him:
“Motley is amazing! He loves to cuddle and found himself sleeping in my bed from day 1! Yesterday was the first time he was left by himself, for about an hour, and he was great. No accidents, no messes, no problems! Today, I’m back to work, so I’m sure he’ll be lonely, but I already can’t wait to get home and take him on his walk.Â
He doesn’t seem to mind the snow, though he was a little hesitant at first. But, he runs through it and did just fine.
He’s very good at “sit,” but struggling with “down” and “come.” He’s getting better at “stay.” We will keep practicing and he’ll get it. He’s very smart.
Thank you very much for what you do. There wouldn’t be happy owners like me without the rescuers like you!”
