HAPPY TAILS: ROXY (FORMERLY CASH PUP)

We adopted Roxy from SOS in January 2016. On that day my husband, daughter and myself  went to Rumford Pet Center in Warwick with the hopes of adopting Larry Bird.  When we arrived, there were 2 families ahead of me to adopt Larry Bird. I put my name in but it didn’t look too promising. My daughter had gone into the area where the puppies were and came across this little black-and-white ticked hound puppy. She came to me and said,” Mom you have to see this puppy”. So I went over and sat down and Roxy came and sat in my lap and proceeded to nuzzle her  nose into the crook of my elbow. That was it…she picked me! We left Rumford Pet Center that day with Roxy sitting on my daughter’s lap and we took her to her forever home.  2015 was not a good year for us. We lost our beloved dog Okie to cancer and I thought I could never have a dog again but boy was I wrong! I am so thankful to SOS.  Keep up the  phenomenal work you do.
