Happy Tails: Violet (formerly Faith)
Violet is living the good life in her forever home. Her new family are overjoyed to have her in their family and even plan on making her a therapy dog like their therapy cat Diablo (pictured with Violet below). Here is what they had to say about Violet’s adoption:
“Faith is now renamed Violet. She’s adjusting very well to our home. She’s gaining in confidence daily. We have 4 cats and they are curious but totally unimpressed with Violet. Violet’s really trying to make friends but her puppy clumsiness and enthusiasm sometimes makes that a challenge. We have places in the house that the cats can escape when they’ve had enough. Violet is happily persistent and we’re sure she’ll eventually win them over.
The adoption process went very smoothly. I really appreciated the opportunity to meet Violet before actually committing to the adoption. Seeing how sweet she was in person went a long way towards making me confident she’d make a wonderful addition to our home. So far she really has!  We’ve enrolled her in a puppy kindergarten class at My Dog’s Place in Mystic, CT. Both the trainer and I have noticed much progress in the 2 classes we’ve attended so far.
I’ve attached a picture of Violet with one of our cats, Diablo. Diablo is a therapy cat that I take to a local nursing home once a week to visit the little cat ladies. Once Violet is trained I hope to take her to visit, also.”
