Howloween Spooktacular 2025

On Saturday, October 25th we hosted the 5th Annual Howloween Spooktacular at SOS reTAIL. This event is so much fun every year and brings together dogs from the local community, SOSARL alum and adoptable pups too to get in the spooky spirit with lots of treats and some costumes too!

It was a beautiful fall day at the store with the event set up right in the parking lot. Attendees could create goodie bags right at the welcome table with samples of food and treats. There was bobbing for dead fish – always a dog favorite, a Photo Booth, tie dye, and more. And then we rounded the event out with a costume contest!

Congratulations to this year’s costume contest winners and runners up! It is always so hard for our judges to choose especially with so much creativity. Everyone had so much fun watching the pups strut their stuff to impress the judges. From the family of Ghost Busters to Winterberry Air, a doggy airline, to ‘Jack in the Box’, to the Headless Horseman…
