3rd Annual Ultimutt Birthday Carnival

On Sunday, June 28th, we gathered together with volunteers, fosters, adopters, local partners and community members for the 3rd Annual Ultimutt Birthday Carnival — the best yet! SOSARL celebrated turning 12 years old and SOS reTAIL turned 7!

Stewie started us off by taste testing this stellar cake made by Jack’s Snacks! He gave it two paws up and it was enjoyed throughout the event by all the pups!

The store was surrounded by fun carnival games, activities and snacks for pups and humans alike. Pawtastic Carnival Games were hosted by our training and professional partners including The Grand Sniff-Off with Bad Dog Basics, Ready, Set, Shred! with Modern Dog Training LLC, Bobbing for Dead Fish with Adventure Dog RI, Wheel-A-Whirl with VUCC Narragansett, Splish Splash Pup Fun Zone with SOS reTAIL, Bubble Pawradise with Wood River Animal Hospital and Gear Up for Pup Cup with Cooperation Canine. Paws on Main served up pup-corn, snow cones, watermelon, and more too.

We are extra grateful for the enthusiasm these partners bring to us and for the quality of their services the we use as a rescue and our adopters go on to support with their furry family members. It is safe to say, the pups had tons of fun sniffing, getting treats, playing in the water and more!

Attendees scored goodie bags including products by Nutrisource, Woof, Redbarn, Polkadog, Finley’s, Kong, Earthbath, Ziwi, and Fi,

And it wouldn’t be a party without adoptable paw-ty animals from SOSARL! Brownie and 3 Cars litter pups were all adopted at the event.
