Crate Escape 5K 2024
On Sunday, October 13th, we held the 8th Annual Crate Escape 5K at Slater Memorial Park in Pawtucket, RI. It was a very chilly morning but our hearts were warmed up by the community showing up for our most attended and most successful fundraising 5K to date. Over 200 racers joined us and helped us raise over $25,000 for the dogs!

We also want to give a big shoutout to DJ Ray for keeping the tunes going all day, Emcee Megan Wilgoos from The Rhode Show for her incredible energy, and Flavors Restaurant for providing delicious food. Shoutout to the Seekonk Cross Country Team for their 2nd year of support — they showed up ready to race and did such a great job. Plus they brought along a couple furry friends too – an added bonus!
